INDEPTH PRODUCT REVIEW
The Weslo Cadence G 5.9 has a running surface of 16" x 50" and a maximum user weight of 275 pounds. It requires 29" x 65" of space, but can be folded when not in use.
We found this treadmill to be surprisingly comfortable. Welso uses "comfort cell cushioning" to prevent strain on your knees and joints. The running area is on the small side but works fine for walkers, and slower runners. The speed ranges from 1 mph to 10 mph.
The console is easy to use. It has an LCD display where you can monitor your speed, distance, burned calories and time. There is also a heart rate monitor using a thumb sensor.
The 6 pre-set workouts were designed by professional trainers to focus on weight loss and intensity training. The console also has a tray for holding a tablet or book and space for a water bottle.
The motor is quiet and provides a smooth running or walking experience. There is enough power to keep your workout challenging.
One of our favorites things about the Weslo Cadence G5.9 besides the great price is that ability to fold it when not in use. This allows you to have a treadmill even if you don't have a lot of dedicated space for it.
- Running area on the small side
- Manual incline
The Weslo Cadence G 5.9 is a great value in the budget treadmill line. It will give you a good workout with some variety and not take up too much space.
