The Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer is a quality club grade machine. At around $1300 it has features such as powered incline, forward and reverse movement, 20 levels of resistance and adjustable stride. This is a great mid-priced machine for home use that is very durable.

The flywheel is a heavy 29 pounds. Along with the high gear ratio, this provides a smooth operating machine. Sole Fitness boasts a "quiet drive system" that does allow for a quiet workout and the Eddy Current Brake resistance. This is usually only found on higher prices machines.
The Sole E35 has an adjustable stride length from 20" to 22". This should fit most users. The footrests are also adjustable. It has a maximum user weight of 230 pounds. The elliptical takes up 82" x 31" of space and weighs 230 pounds.
There are 10 preset workout programs including 2 custom ones. For even more variety, there is 16 different levels of resistance. The power incline can be adjusted from 0 degrees to 30 degrees to workout an greater range of muscles.
The console displays heart rate from the built in sensors on the hand grips or from the included chest strap. It also displays time, distance, calories burned and resistance levels. There is a 6.5 inch backlit LCD screen with integrated speakers for an iPod or MP3 player. There are 2 user profile modes. Another great feature is the built-in cooling fan. While there is a water bottle holder, one feature missing is a tray for a tablet or book.
The Sole Fitness E35 Elliptical Machine is a well built, sturdy, but smooth and quiet machine. If you are wanting a gym quality machine for home use with many of the same features, this is a good choice.
