One of the most important features on the elliptical machine is the flywheel. The Proform Hybrid Trainer has a 13 pound flywheel. This gives a good solid feel to the ride whether you're standing or seated.
The stride length for the elliptical trainer is only 15". This is only adequate for people up to 5' 3" to feel like it is a full stride. There is a 350 pound weight limit for the user. The recumbent bicycle is very comfortable and the seat is sturdy and supportive.
The Proform Hybrid Trainer takes up 76" x 26" of space, which is a somewhat large area. However, it comes with transport wheels on the bottom, so it is easy to pick up and move out of the way.
The computer console provides you with feedback on time, resistance, distance, and calories burned. The heart rate pulse grip sensors on the console arms displays your heart rate. This makes it easy to stay in your target fat burning zone. There is also a water bottle holder attached to the console.

This hybrid elliptical trainer is a great choice if you like to vary your workouts and do some cross training. With only one piece of equipment you can have both an elliptical trainer and a recumbent bike. Despite the shorter stride length and especially considering the price, this is a solid choice for your cardio needs.
